~ About the Book ~
When a wicked king imprisons seventeen-year-old Kadren for his fire magic, the cold, damp room and the daily beatings don’t bother him nearly as much as the voice in his head.
Sixteen-year-old Brelina wants more than anything to be a good water mage. Her efforts, more often than not, end in floods and failure. Her life changes, however, when the Bond connects her to Kadren. Their thoughts pass back and forth as easy as blinking, his pain becoming hers, her sickness becoming his.
Except water and fire don’t mix.
Water annoys him. Fire frightens her.
She despises him. And in spite of their differences, he’s falling in love with her.
~ About the Author ~
Jessica Celaya and her husband, Michael, live in northern Utah with three cats, a dog, a fish, and a hedgehog. When she’s not writing, she can be found helping children learn to read (it’s her job), crocheting dragons and unicorns, and learning about the medieval times with her handsome, knight-in-shining armor husband. Or herding cats . . . Mostly herding cats.
The Mage’s Bond is her first book.
